History- The history of the great wall of china began when fortifications guilt by various states during the spring and autumn and warring  state periods were connected by the first emperor of china to protect his newly founded quin dynasty against incursions by nomads from inner Asia.

Its impact to the country/citizens- The great wall of china protected millions  of people and dynasties like han,quin and ming etc. It protected them because of the length and structure of the wall but since it was a complex structure over 1,000,000 people died making it.

Its impact or contribution to human relationships - The contributions before that it was a wall to keep people safe and protected. But now it is a place where lots of tourists can come and for people to meet also before refugees can be helped and protected inside the wall.

Relevance to "Good fences make great neighbors"- I do not believe there is relevance to this quote since "Good fences make great neighbors" is about good relations can still live even with fences and also how fences good ones can make great make great relations. T he great wall of china was built to keep invaders out not to make good relations.

Relevance to "Mending wall"- I do not believe there is relevance to this poem this is a poem about 2 neighbors meeting every year to fix a wall separating them. There is no relation to the great wall of china. China built it themselves and it was to keep invaders out
